Making a Difference for the Penguins

A totally adorable group of baby penguins!

Hello again! Let’s talk about how to save the penguins. In my previous post, I explained what the penguins’ problem was and why it is so important to save them. (Besides the fact that they are the cutest things on Earth!) But anyway, there are many simple and easy ways to help them that anyone can do. Save the penguins! They are amazing! The first important step to help save them is to learn about them. If you have already read my first post, then you probably know enough. An important thing to do is reducing your carbon footprint. Your carbon footprint is the amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds produced because of the consumption of fossil fuels that you use.  One easy way to reduce your carbon footprint is to walk to places that are nearby instead of driving. Using sustainable and organic products that have a smaller impact on the environment also helps. By reducing your carbon footprint, you help save a lot of other animals too, although I think the penguins are the most important, but I believe in helping all animals. Reusing and recycling can also help them. Pollution hurts them, so you could pick up trash so it doesn’t end up in the ocean. Sometimes when humans start fishing in the penguins’ habitat, the penguins run out of food, so do not buy fish from Antarctica or other extreme southern oceans Make sure you buy locally caught fish or fish from the north or else you could be causing penguins to starve. That would be so sad and terrible!!!!! I strongly believe that it is absolutely necessary to save the penguins!!!
